Author Visits

Bonnie Galindo, author of Thimblebee’s adventures, will come to your school or classroom(s) and read one of Thimblebee’s books to your students and share her experience in becoming a children’s book author. As an independent author and career preschool and elementary school teacher, she brings an emphasis in encouraging literacy and hopes to inspire young minds to find the path that will lead them to their goals and dreams. Bonnie also has a heart for and long history in serving under privileged communities which has created a deeply rooted personal value in making an experience like an author visit accessible to all classrooms. 

 

Due to Bonnie’s current area of residence, the following counties are available for author visits under the standard terms and conditions: Napa, Solano, Contra Costa, Alameda, Yolo and Sacramento. If your school is located outside the above listed counties, an additional travel fee applies.

 

Terms and conditions:

• $175 and a prominently visible spot for table display (provided by the author) for book purchasing, author signing and pictures with the author before and after readings. 

• Visit includes 3 complimentary sets (9 books) of Thimblebee’s Adventures - Meet Thimblebee, Thimblebee’s Thimble Tale and Thimblebee Makes Honey - and a master set of five Thimblebee activity sheets. 

• Author visit can be conducted in either a large group assembly setting or spread out throughout the school day into smaller classroom visits. 

• Bookings must be made a minimum of 30 days in advance. 

• Payments must be received in order to confirm booking and can be made via Venmo, Zelle or check.

 

Refund/cancellation policy: Bookings may be canceled up to 15 days prior to scheduled visit for a full refund. Visits may be rescheduled up to 7 days prior to visit. All cancellations received within 7 days of scheduled visit cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
